Why We Built This

There’s no shortage of deal sites on the internet. Most of them are built for people in their twenties hunting for gaming chairs and streaming subscriptions. Buy65 is different.

We built this site for people 65 and better — the generation that has earned the right to spend their money on things that actually matter and actually work. People who want a robot vacuum that genuinely helps around the house, a tablet that doesn’t take a tech degree to operate, a cruise deal with accessible cabins, or a medical alert system that works when it counts.

The deals are real. The recommendations are honest. And we write everything in plain language, because you shouldn’t need a glossary to figure out if something is worth buying.

How We Find Deals

Our editorial team monitors prices across major retailers daily. We track price history so we can tell you whether a “sale” is genuinely the lowest price, or just the retailer’s usual asking price with a markdown sticker slapped on it.

When we publish a deal, it’s because we believe the price is genuinely good relative to what that product normally sells for. When we write a product recommendation, it’s because we’ve evaluated it against the alternatives and believe it’s the right choice for our audience specifically — not just in general.

We do not accept payment to feature products. We do not guarantee positive coverage in exchange for free samples. We call out the downsides of products we recommend because you deserve the full picture.

Buy65 is free to use because of two revenue sources: display advertising and affiliate commissions.

The price you pay is identical to what you’d pay going directly to the retailer. The commission comes from the retailer’s margin, not your pocket.
